1. Introduction
Welcome to iMake Jewellery (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website www.imakejewellery.com (“Website”) and the purchase of bespoke jewellery products and related services (“Products” or “Services”) offered by us. By accessing our Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Bespoke Jewellery Services
2.1 All bespoke jewellery pieces are custom made according to your specifications and preferences. As such, each piece is unique and non-returnable unless faulty as determined under our Warranty section below.
2.2 Design consultations, revisions, and prototypes are part of the bespoke process, and we reserve the right to set limits on the number of revisions included in the price. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
2.3 Production times vary depending on design complexity and materials availability. We will provide an estimated delivery time but reserve the right to adjust based on unforeseen circumstances.
3. Ordering Process
3.1 Orders can be placed through our Website, via email, or through in-person consultations at our Hatton Garden studio.
3.2 Upon placing an order, you agree that all information provided (design specifications, measurements, preferences) are accurate and complete.
3.3 We will provide a quotation and terms for approval before commencing manufacture. An order is only confirmed once a deposit (usually 30-50%) and written agreement have been received.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 All prices are in GBP and exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Payment of the deposit is required prior to commencement of work, with the balance due upon completion and before delivery or collection.
4.3 We accept payments via major credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
4.4 Prices may vary based on material costs, design changes, and gemstone availability.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Due to the custom nature of bespoke jewellery, cancellations after order confirmation and deposit payment may be subject to partial or full forfeiture of the deposit.
5.2 If you cancel prior to manufacture, deposits may be refunded less reasonable expenses incurred.
5.3 Refunds for bespoke orders are not provided once production has commenced except in cases of manufacturing defects.
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be provided during the order process.
6.2 We use insured and trackable courier services for all deliveries.
6.3 Delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or customs.
6.4 Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.
7. Warranty and Repairs
7.1 We warrant that bespoke jewellery will be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from delivery.
7.2 This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, loss, theft, accidental damage, or misuse.
7.3 Repairs and maintenance services are available beyond the warranty period at additional cost.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All designs, images, and content on the Website remain the intellectual property of iMake Jewellery unless otherwise agreed.
8.2 Customers retain ownership of bespoke designs commissioned but grant us the right to use images of the pieces for promotional purposes unless explicitly declined in writing.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on the Website.
9.2 By placing an order, you consent to the use of your personal data for order fulfillment and communications.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, iMake Jewellery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website or purchase of Products.
10.2 Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the bespoke jewellery piece.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London.
12. Changes to Terms
